Denny and Jessica's Wedding

Denny and Jessica's wedding was beautiful and fun to be a part of.  Milan and Eden absolutely LOVED wearing pretty dresses, fancy high heeled shoes, and feeling important.

I knew Milan would be a natural at her flower girl job and she did great!
Eden did great too and I was so so proud to see her coming down the aisle with a shy little smile.
Cora was content to sit for a couple of minutes, then she and Dave hung out in the back with the other toddlers :)

The girls certainly loved the wedding, but the dancing was even better!  They were the first ones out on the dance floor and rocked it the entire night!

Milan had this crazy head spinning thing that she loved to do

When they  got too tired for dancing, they just snuggled daddy and kept on going!

Rehearsal Dinner and a New Friend

Jessica's parents had a wonderful rehearsal dinner at their home.  The girl's night started off great when Jessica offered them some flower girl gifts.  They loved their coloring books and cute bracelets!

The night only got better when they found a new friend.  They hit it off with the other flower girl, Abby.  Here they are performing a little number!
Their moves are so great!
Cute little Brynn joined in on the fun too.

The night started to get really fun when they busted out Duck-Duck-Goose, chase, and tickle monster!  Dave and I just loved watching the girls running around squealing and giggling in their sleep-deprived mania.....it was my favorite part of the whole trip.
Besties!
My new sister!  We are so excited to have Jessica join our crazy family!

Portland Zoo

We had a free day in Portland so we decided to check out the zoo.  We went with Aunt Marie, Uncle Scott, and Brynn then met up with Grandma and Papa Scott so we were quite the show.  Here are the cute little ladies (a little exhausted from all the traveling fun.)

Milan chit chatting with a monkey.
Cora wanted to get close to the sea lions.

LOVE Eden's face in this picture!
The baby elephant was the best part for my girls!
Um....I take that back, they may have loved petting and brushing the goats even more.

Beautiful day, great company, and cute animals....I would say it was a successful day of family fun!

Chip, Andrea, and Stella in Portland

We headed to Portland for my brother's wedding and we got to spend some time with Uncle Chip, Aunt Andrea, and baby Stella.  They were so nice to come up to Portland to meet up with us during our whirlwind trip.  It was rainy and we had a busy schedule to work around so we didn't really do anything too exciting.  The girls loved the hotel pool and thought Uncle Chip was so fun to play with.

We also ended up eating at the nearby mall food court way more than we should have (I guess that's what happens with three squirelly girls who prefer the mall play area over a delish restaurant.)  I also got to spend some quality snuggle time with Stella who is adorable (I totally regret not taking any good pictures of the girls together :()
We are so glad we got to meet up with family during our trip.

Last Day of School

I love having my kids home for summer so I was eager for the last day of school!  Eden's preschool ended first so she had a hard time understanding why she just stopped going to school.  Luckily, we filled the time with fun play dates and park days.  Eden has learned so much at preschool.....she is rock solid on colors and still fine tuning counting and reciting the alphabet.  Whenever she sees an E she says, "It's a 3, just like my name, Eden!  Eden has absolutely loved her teacher, Ms. Wrhel, and talks just like her whenever she plays teacher.

Wow, kindergarten has been such a big year for Milan!  I am amazed at how well she can read now.  I am constantly surprised by her questions, comprehension, vocabulary and understanding of things going on around her.  Even though I volunteer at school as much as possible, I have really missed Milan during the school year.  I cannot wait to spend the summer together!

Walker Talker

Cora's first steps were May 17th!  She decided to try walking in the girl's room and since Dave was home, I called him back and she walked back and forth between us several times!  She liked to practice her walking when nobody was watching her.  Maybe our cheering and clapping were too much of a distraction :)  She has slowly been building her confidence and skills.  Now, she primarily walks, always with her right foot first and just kind of drags her left foot behind her....it is adorable!  Turns are also adorable; they are usually a 17 point pivot.
Since we have been outside enjoying the sunshine, she loves to explore.
Cora is also quite the climber!  She loves totes, playground equipment, stairs, you name it!  She is usually pretty cautious and we haven't had any issues yet.
She was pretty proud of this one!
Playing with daddy, she has Dave wrapped around her little finger :)

Cora LOVES peekaboo!  She does with blankies, walls, chairs, hands, and this time the bath curtain.
Just look at that cute face :)
