Shore Acres Lights

Dave and I visited Shore Acres a couple of times while we were dating so we were excited to take Milan back to see the lights.  Milan ran around singing, "Follow the Leader" so we all followed her around the park.

Hiking

We decided to take a break from our holiday eating to go for a hike. We enjoyed some exercise, found some huge trees, and Milan laughed almost the entire way.........

Christmas

Just like every year we bought our kids very few gifts for Christmas and just like every year they were ridiculously spoiled by family!  The girls loved the dollhouse and candy that Santa brought them.

 Eden discovered that climbing in the dollhouse is pretty dang uncomfortable.

 Grandpa bought the coolest toy ever.....this sled hasn't even left the house, but it is a huge hit!  We have been pulling the kids around the house non-stop and we have to hide it when we're not using it just hoping that they'll forget about it for a little while.  Of course, we do it for these cute smiles and laughter.....

The next step is figuring how to get all of this stuff home and finding room for everything in our apartment......

Christmas Eve

Since we love hanging out with good long-time friends and family, Christmas Eve was a great time!  Miss Jen Wiley came to visit in the morning and it was great to spend time catching up!

 Then Milan and Eden busted out some tunes.

 We had a yummy dinner on Christmas Eve.  Clearly they had a party happening in the back! 

 Eden crashed before dinner was even over so Milan enjoyed all the attention.

After Milan crashed, Santa spent hours assembling a sweet new dollhouse for the girls.  

Eden woke up for a sneak-peek of Santa's goodies; she LOVED the dollhouse and we loved hanging out with a deliriously happy baby girl!  These huge windows had us cracking up for a while!

Family and Fun

Last night, Milan told me, "I love everyone in my life."  The girls have been showered with heaps of attention........Eden is a pretty cautious about new people, but Milan has LOVED every minute! 

Here's my side of the family.  We are super grateful that everyone traveled to see us!

Christmas on the Coast

Friday was a pretty nice day so we bundled up the kids and took them to the beach.  Milan was a little disappointed the Oregon Coast is nothing like Newport Beach in Southern California, but we still had a good time......

Milan found a good stick and some sea shells so she was a happy camper..... 

Hopefully we get another nice day before we leave so we can do another beach trip!

Decorating the Tree

Grandma and Papa waited for us to decorate the tree and the girls loved it!  Eden found some bell ornaments which kept her entertained for a while then she worked on unraveling the beads from the tree......she's a big helper this year :)

Milan dressed up in her tutu and totally embraced the decorating!
