Yea for Visitors :)

A couple of weekends ago we had visits from Aunt Marie AND Grandma Kat, Uncle Bob, and Jack all at the same time. We only got to see Kat and Jack for half a day, but really enjoyed their visit (hopefully next time they can stay longer :). Marie stayed for almost a week and we enjoyed playing in the sun. Unfortunately, Marie was sick for part of the trip so I took Milan to "Wyoming's Big Show" to see the animals while she rested. Marie even missed John Michael Montgomery in concert, but I was luckily able to see him in all his glory.....

Milan liked walking around the fair and waving at random people. She also enjoyed the animals from the safety of her stroller. Here are some huge bunnies!

Milan liked to watch the goats lick her stroller and even mustered up the courage for a couple of quick pats.

Petting the stingrays....Milan loved this part and wanted to climb into the water to catch the stingrays!!

The next day Marie was feeling better so we headed Green River for some fun at the splash park. Here we are at Arctic Circle waiting for our shakes (they are my favorite part of Green River after all :) Milan found some cool saddle seats!

Milan was 'too good' to sit next to mom and Aunt Marie. It was a pretty busy day so Milan was too intimidated to play at the spray park, but we did have a blast climbing on the jungle gym.

Here we are playing with the hose and the pool in our backyard.....SO FUN!

Milan and I were eating chocolate ice cream on the back patio. Milan loved the taste and insisted on carrying the spoon everywhere.

I LOVE the cute wet footprints on my concrete!

All Fancied Up

Milan opted out of naptime (because she sometimes prefers to quietly play in her crib rather than sleep even though she is very tired) so I decided to put her in a cute dress and take her to some pretty spots for some pictures.

I couldn't keep Milan away from the park, so we spent the afternoon playing in her pretty dress :)

Crazy Big Hair :)

I do Milan's hair every morning then restyle it throughout the day. I have tried everything to keep her hair intact, but she loves to yank out the rubber band along with a handful of hair and then show me the rubber band and say "ah-ha." Here are some pictures of my little girl's cute fro.

While I was talking to Dave, Milan got stuck in her closet shelf. She was worried at first, then she was just excited to talk to da-da on the phone.

I LOVE how she is hands-free when she "talks" on her cell phone. Plus, she's walking on rings from her stacker.

Deliriously playing catch before bedtime.

Cheyenne Frontier Days

Alright, I'm a huge slacker.......We had an AWESOME girl's weekend to Cheyenne Frontier Days almost a month ago and I'm finally getting around to posting some pictures........

Our positions in the back of the truck for the drive to Laramie (where we stayed Friday night) and the cruise around town

During Becca's tour of Laramie, we saw this fine architecture. Can you see the 'hand gesture' in the bricks?

The girls waiting for the parade.

A big pair of pants!

Watching the rodeo.

After the rodeo, we watched Taylor Swift (good concert.....I loved dancing to her teeny-bopper songs) and Rascal Flats (eh).

The first night I was gone, I received a picture text where Milan had no pants, no shoes, a dried bloody nose with hair stuck to the crusties on her face. I was worried. Dave watched Milan all weekend and even though her hair did not get styled, they had a lot of fun.....hiking, shakes at Arctic Circle, and playing outside.

FUN WEEKEND FOR THE SCOTTS!
