Lots of Attention

Milan is the sickest she has ever been and has been sleeping most of the day. When her fever gets too high, I wake her up for a cool bath, then she just falls right back to sleep. So, I spent a lot of time playing with Eden today....it takes me back to when I only had a 6 month old all day. It's funny because Eden wasn't really into all the attention....some times she just wanted to play with her toys and suck on things even though I was trying to talk to her and make her smile. It was really nice to spend one-on-one time with Eden, but I'm looking forward to Milan feeling better so she can play with us to.

Here's Eden getting all ready for bedtime.....

Pneumonia

Milan had a bad cough and high temperature so Dave took her to the doctor today and found out that she has Pneumonia....it developed from a cold she had a couple of weeks ago. Fortunately, she tested negative for the flu. She was a pretty sad sight today, but after some anti-biotics and a codine-induced nap, she seems to be getting some of her spunk back. It seems like we have constantly been sick with colds, coughs, and stomach viruses this winter.......I am ready to be healthy (and maybe a dose of summer to go along with that please!)

Fun with Friends

This week we had some great time getting together with our friends......

Here's Milan playing with her little friends from Babysitting Group. (We have a group of four families and rotate babysitting responsibilities so we can have date nights every Saturday :)

TWISTER! They're still learning the rules, but it's a great way to work on colors!

Eden and her little buddy Derek.

We also had a bunch of moms and kids over for lunch on Wednesday....I didn't get any pictures because it was pretty chaotic. I had a lot of fun though....thanks for coming ladies :)

All Smiles

Dave was holding Eden and I snapped a couple of pictures (okay, I took a lot of pictures, but that's just the great thing about a digital camera.) I love all of her little smiles and I feel so lucky to get to see her cute face all day long!

"Do It Again"

Dave and Milan played a pretty fun, but repetitive, game for a good half an hour today. Dave threw Milan on the bed, Milan landed and said, "ouch, that hurt", bounced back up, ran at dad and said, "do it again." Dave was only allowed to leave for work after he promised to throw her again in the morning.

We're not throwing Eden around yet, but she gets to play 'Super Baby' and loves it!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Happy Valentine's Day! We hope everyone had a wonderful day of love! We had a week of festivities.....a fun date with my hubby, flowers (twice :), a red dinner with friends, chocolate covered strawberries (mmmmmm), a new Snow White Barbie and matching outfits for my girls, a pretty awesome Candy-gram for daddy, and a fun little surprise from Aunt Marie. Obviously, I could never buy these shirts for my girls, but since they were a gift, they will proudly wear them all around town :). Thanks Aunt Marie!

Today, the girls got dolled up in their cute pink dresses and semi-cooperated for some pictures. I think this picture turned out sweet so I'm going to have it printed and hung up.

Eden

Losing interest.....

And on a totally unrelated note, this is Milan wearing the same dress Eden wore today when she was 1 year old. She was a little bit smaller than our Eden :)

Thankful

I just wanted to let everyone know that I am so appreciative of my wonderful family and friends. Nothing specific has happened, it's just that I feel so blessed to have people in my life that go out of their way to do nice things for me and my little family. I have great friends who are willing to watch my girls even when I don't give them much notice or I forget to pack Eden's binky and she screams for twenty minutes; invite us over for dinner; invite me to fun girl's nights; give me money to buy water for spin class and run up and get it for me just to be nice; make me vinyl on their cricut; call and invite Milan over for play dates just when I really need to go grocery shopping; invite me to couples activities and make me feel welcome by myself because Dave is working. I am seriously so grateful for all the great people we have met here in Rock Springs. And, even on top of that, our family has been sending sweet little surprises for my girls in the mail.....we are so surpised to receive packages for no reason and Milan gets SOOOOO excited. I hope everyone knows how much I truly appreciate all the nice things and just having such great people in our lives.
