Sometimes you just can't be bothered

when you are watching Sleeping Beauty for the umpteenth time. If Milan is not watching it, then she is dancing around the house in her dress up and saying, "look mom, there's the prince on his horse."

I've been a little MIA from blogging lately....we took a trip to Utah last weekend in search of home decor (well, Dave wanted to find a new truck, but my search was more successful.). Since we got back I have been spending my non-kid time on house projects. I'm taking a break because I'm in the middle of painting Milan's room....she really wants pink and I'm just not so sure. Anyways, I uploaded my pictures and picked out all the ones that make me smile! I just love these cute kiddos!

Ahhhh....sitting on the couch with some Moose Tracks Ice Cream watching House while the girls are dreaming away.

This little girl is a CRAZY sleeper....she's all over the bed and even manages to fall out once in a while. Tonight, she may be a little extra tired since she flooded the bathroom and some of the carpet in our master bedroom while we were at church. She's pretty dang cute when she's sleeping though.

Little Eden always manages to work out of her swaddle and lose her binky, so she's found a substitute....cute, cute, cute.

Tummy Time

Edenbug learned how to roll over on December 21st and she had it mastered for 3 days or so then totally forgot all her moves. I even have it on video so it really did happen :). Here's some cute pics of Eden on her tummy.

Happy New Year!

These were my HOT dates for New Year's Eve this year. Dave had to work so the girls and I went to a little party at the Sorensen's house. We had a great time eating yummy food and visiting with friends! Milan ate and played with her friends all night and made it until 12:30. Eden checked out the ceiling fan, laid with her little baby friends, and smiled nonstop all the way until midnight. They were fun dates and the next best thing to kissing my hubby at midnight :)

Merry Christmas

Dave is a bit of a workaholic so Christmas was a 3-day event for us. Milan got ready for it all by making cookies/eating a lot of icing with Anna and J.P. What could be better?

Christmas Eve we went to a friend's house for a very random dinner including crab legs, shrimp, pizza, appetizers, and lots of goodies. When we got home, we each opened up one gift. I made Dave a 'We Love Daddy' book full of pictures of daddy and his girls.

Milan opened up a train whistle for herself and bath toys for Edenbug. Dave got me some new pans (that I really needed) and he let me cheat because he got me the entire Willow Tree Nativity and I got to open it when it came so I could put it up :)


Christmas Day Dave worked until 2:00 so I hung out at home with the girls then we had a bunch of people over for Christmas Dinner....we had a total of 25 people in our house so it was CHAOS, but we had a yummy dinner and a really fun time with a new game.

We had Christmas morning on the 26th and it was a hit! Everyone in our little family was completely spoiled! Milan had a blast this year and it was fun to watch her open presents then relax and spend time together all day.
