Whole Lotta Love

Aunt Marie sent these super cute Valentine's shirts so we took a cute "Love" picture for daddy.....
 Then it turned into silliness......

Milan is super excited for her school Valentine's Day tomorrow!  She put her name on her Princess Valentines, bought Eden's present at the dollar store, and made a card for daddy!  Dave has a test on Tuesday and Wednesday so it will be me and the girls tomorrow (and I get to go on a date with my hubby this weekend :)

Big Girl Stuff

It seems like Eden has decided to become an independent little girl these past couple of months.  She has a great bed, but insists on sleeping on the floor in a sleeping bag every singe time!  Still sucks on her fingers though....she also makes her babies suck on their fingers when she is playing mommy.
We had some friends over the other day so she skipped her nap time.  She just couldn't make it all day so she passed out on the chair.
She is riding on daddy with her big girl panties!  She decided three weeks ago that she is too big for a diaper.  Honestly, she has wanted to be potty trained for a while, but I was completely dreading it. She had three accidents during the first week and has been fine every since.  She is very concerned about making Ariel happy (that's the character on her panties.)  Sometimes when she goes potty, she claps and says "Yay Eden!"
Making tunnels.  They love it when daddy and I crawl underneath their tunnels!
Yesterday, Eden got two suckers in nursery and she really really wanted to share the pink sucker with Milan because "Maan likes pink."

She can't say her fs so she says things like, "I turn the light oss."

Art, Etc.

I offered Milan several winter activities and she eagerly chose a preschool art class through the University of Wyoming.  It's a four week class that focuses on a different type of art each week.  The first week was Sculpting and this past week was Painting.  Milan loves creating new masterpieces and the teacher even lets Eden play too!
We are constantly making crafts at home; this is Milan's cute homemade crown.
Milan also chose gymnastics.  She is always excited about class, puts her leotard on several hours before it's time to leave and at the end of class asks me why it can't be longer.  She practices all her moves at home and loves to show us!
Just a cute picture of our spunky little "Maaners!"

Snow Day

We had a recent snow storm and warm weather (40's!) so we played outside yesterday morning!  Winter snow is really dry so we couldn't really build anything and after a complete sledding failure last year (too scary for the girls) we dug out our sand toys and just played.

Milan loved it!

Eden didn't really understand the difference between summer and winter....she desperately wanted to play with the squirt guns.  We compromised and blew bubbles for a while....that was a big hit with the girls!

Here's the baby bump at 26 weeks!

Coloring Eggs

Sometimes the ridiculous pictures are the most fun to look back on!

The minute we got back from our Christmas vacation, the girls started talking about the Easter Bunny so I decided to do a little early egg coloring.  Milan took her time meticulously mixing colors and adding stickers.....she's quite a crafty little girl so this was right up her alley.  Eden bombed all her eggs into the egg dye, which "punched" the shells then modeled with her eggs and asked me to take pictures.  They both had a great time!

25 Weeks

Here's a belly shot at 25 weeks.  Dave has been super busy studying/stressing for an O Chem test this week, so I just did a self portrait while I was thinking about it.  Not the best picture, but oh well.

Milan tells me almost every day that I look "pregno."  She is pretty sure she can see the baby through my belly button, which is where she will come out when I go to the hospital.  Milan thinks we should name this little girl Brae (like a donkey!).  Eden likes to lift up my shirt and see the baby.    Kind of embarrassing when she insists on doing this in public.  Both girls like to kiss my tummy and say good night to baby girl.

Bowling

After a couple of months of requests from Milan, we took the girls bowling for family night.  Eden found her sunglasses on the same day and pretty much rocked this look!
Eden was a cute little bowler....she would waddle back and forth with her six pound ball.  She also clapped after every one's turn, even her own.  (Last night, I heard clapping and saying," Yea mommy!" before she fell asleep.)

Team work :)
 Clapping for their ball.
Milan jumping for joy after she knocked some pins down.  After our game, Milan walked up to the bowling alley guy and asked if they have kid bowling teams.  Turns out that they do.....I'll sign her up in March if she's still interested.  Bowling isn't really my preferred team sport....I hope that our future does not include visiting bowling alleys around the state for competitions!
