Baby Girl #3

We are so blessed to add another girl to our family in May!  This is going to be one crazy home full of pink, princesses, singing, dancing, and babies!  We'll get to meet this little girl in May.
Here I am at 17 weeks!  Holy Moly......the third baby definitely shows way faster!  I'm feeling her kick at night and I love that!  Eden's in this picture taking a picture and showing her tummy, just like mommy :)

Thanksgiving

This year we headed to Salt Lake City to enjoy Thanksgiving with Grandma Kat, Jack, and Bob.  The weather was so nice that we headed to the park.

The girls always love feeding the goats in the backyard!  They're not really friendly petting-type goats, but still fun to feed through the fence.
Milan loved hanging out with Grandma Kat the entire time we were there.  Dave and I loved it because we got a lot of time to ourselves....we enjoyed a dinner date, shopping (so much fun by ourselves), and attempted Black Friday shopping for about ten minutes (we're just not cut out for Utah Black Friday!)
Spa Time.  Both girls got manicures, pedicures, and make-up; it totally made their night!
We went to see the Christmas Lights at Temple Square.  The girls were impressed for a little while, then they were just too cold!  Milan said that she only wants to go back next year if it's warmer.
Once we got inside the heated visitor center, the girls pepped right up!

Don't want to forget.....

Every time, I get Eden ready for naptime or bedtime, she tells me "I done cying."  That's usually the end of her protest.....she gets her blanky and two fingers in her mouth then off to dreamland.

When we ask Eden what she wants for Christmas, she tells us all about how she wants some treats in her eggs.  I can't believe she can remember Easter, but apparently it was a highlight!

5 Years

What can happen in 5 years?  Well, since this picture was taken (at our wedding in Cancun) we have had:

1 career/lifestyle change, 2 1/2 beautiful little girls, 22 vehicles (including buses, 4-wheelers, etc.), 2 homes (technically I used Dave's info to buy the first home before we were married, but details), and moved 8 times.

I love that we don't have things planned out.  I love that we laugh all the time.  I can't wait to see what the next 70 years or so brings!
Coming up:  a week long California Getaway in December.  YAY!

November

To be honest, I have a hard time transitioning into November and the cold weather that it brings.  I have finally embraced winter and we are making the best of it.....play dates, library time, preschool, getting creative inside, and looking forward to our upcoming adventures.

We combined food coloring and shaving cream for a super fun bath time!  I refilled the tub several times and finally pulled them out for bedtime.  We will definitely be doing this again!
Eden and daddy found a new way to play Elefun.....the elephant trunk is supposed to shoot butterflies into the air, but Eden loved the butterflies flying into her face!
Here's Milan sporting her Burger King crown.  (Dave and I are looking forward to the day that eating out does not involve a Play Place.)  For now, we eat fries at sticky tables and the girls love it!
Just playing.
 Even better, playing together :)
Eden has decided that she loves dress-up just like her big sister.  It's great because we have a TON!
How cute are these girls?!?!  Grandma Kat sent these great dresses and I think they are adorable!

Mega HALLOWEEN!

We were all super excited for Halloween this year and it did not disappoint!  Here's the cutest Lalaloopsy and Minnie Mouse in town!

(This first picture sums up the girls.....Milan loves packing around her Lalaloopsy doll (so much so that we loose that tiny doll on a regular basis) and Eden is always rocking a baby!)

We kicked off trick or treating at the medical clinic on Friday.
Eden loved petting the costumed dogs!

Saturday morning, we headed downtown for more trick or treating.  It was really fun, but a little chilly so we didn't last too long.
On Halloween, we started at Milan's preschool party.  They got to do fun Halloween crafts, eat yummy treats, and do a parade through the school.  I loved helping out for the Halloween Party!
Halloween night was so, so, so fun!  We went with some friends and Milan was the excited leader of the whole group!  She would race up to the next door then patiently wait for the rest of us to show up!  Eden just kept saying, "I go that house too."  After two hours and tons of candy, we loaded some very tired girls into the truck.

Corn Maze (Part 2)

Our over-indulged kiddos got to visit two corn mazes this year!  There were a combination of factors....we missed out on the petting zoo at the first corn maze, needed to do some shopping in Fort Collins, nice weather, coupons, etc.  We had a fun day trip to Fort Collins and it was a great way to enjoy our last weekend of nice weather until May or so.

First stop, the petting zoo.
Eden talked about petting animals for weeks, but when it came time to actually touch an animal, she wasn't too sure about it.
The bunnies were a HUGE hit though!  I'm not surprised; we have a couple of bunnies that live around our neighborhood and the girls get super excited every time we see them!
The Jump House!  Milan spent some serious time in here and Eden liked to jump on the entrance stair so we could stay close to each other.
The Pedal Cars.  We pushed the girls around this track forever.  I think Dave got the easier job because Milan could steer her car.  It was worth it, they both had a blast!
