30!

October 1st was my 30th birthday!  I got to spend a great day with my family and a wonderful date with Dave.  We spent the night in Fort Collins walking around downtown, going out to dinner, and laughing a lot.  Dave also made me a yummy carrot cake with cream cheese frosting (my favorite!).  I felt loved with flowers, messages, cards (especially from my sweet hubby), and a visit from my brother and sister.

Here's Milan and I blowing out the candles on the cake, we managed to do all 30 on the first try!
As far as 30, it's not near as old as I once thought it was.  It's funny because I had everything I wanted at 28.  At 30, I'm enjoying the pathway to our next goal.  And, I get to spend it with just the right people.  So many things to be grateful for.

Corn Maze

We wanted to show Denny and Marie a good time so we headed to the corn maze in Fort Collins.  Since it was so early in the season, we had great weather and the whole place to ourselves.

Milan did a great job navigating the maze!

Visitors

We had some pretty special visitors recently!  Uncle Denny, Aunt Marie, and Brynn came for a couple of days.....Eden could not have been any more excited about her cousin.  Eden asked to hold Brynn every chance she got, and as you can tell, Brynn was equally excited.
Playing catch with Uncle Denny.  Lucky guy got to play lots of games with these cute little girls :).  (Hopefully that made up for his less than luxurious sleeping arrangements.)

Brynn "enjoying" more attention from Eden.

Story time.
Cousin Love.
Smooches.

More Park Days

We have been loving most of fall.....every time it's nice or close to it, we head to the park.  We will take this nice weather as long as we can get it!
Our little acrobat.
Some serious AIR!
Ready, set, go.

Last Game

We ended soccer with a bang!  Milan played a team with a couple of friends and she had a great game!  I'm not sure she even touched the ball, but she had a great time socializing.

The Orange Tigers (GRRRR!)

We've been doing fall soccer for a couple of weeks now and let me just say that there has been a HUGE improvement in Milan's soccer skills!  We practiced this summer (we probably should have practiced or at least bought Milan a soccer ball before her first season, but oh well) and she has an AMAZING coach!  Look at this little girl in action!
Here's she's running so fast that everyone else is just a blur!  Ha ha.
Of course, half hour games can get pretty long for a 4 year old so sometimes she finds other ways to entertain herself.  This is Milan's little red-headed friend and they are quite the team.

The action on the sidelines is pretty cute too!

First Day

Today was Milan's first day back at preschool.  There were some preschoolers crying at drop-off and Milan was definitely not one of them.  She was off to play with her friends as soon as we got there.  As a bonus, it was raining so Milan was excited to wear her cute rain boots.
