Family Pictures

Every time we walked from our hotel to Disneyland, we passed this pretty little garden so I decided to get a couple of family pictures. Milan wasn't super excited about hanging around taking pictures when Disneyland was so close and she had an Ariel Nightgown to show off.

The Happiest Place on Earth

We flew to California on Monday night with our kids, 2 car seats, a double stroller, and 3 big bags....it was a little ridiculous for Dave and I but we totally made it! We made it to our hotel room around midnight.....we thought Milan would be exhausted but she just laid in her bed too excited to sleep. We woke up bright and early Tuesday morning and started off our Disneyland vacation with a bang.....

Breakfast with the Princesses!

After breakfast, we took Milan on all the kid's rides at California Adventure.

Grandma and Papa Scott were staying at Newport Beach so we went to visit them in the afternoon.
I LOVE Eden's hair

and Milan's outfit :)

Milan stayed the night with grandma and papa and we took an exhausted little Eden back to our room; the end of a great 1st day!

College

Here are some fun pictures from college, part 1.

8 years later, we are working on college, part 2.
Our appraisal came in where we wanted it and our home passed the inspection with flying colors. Dave, Eden, and I went to Laramie yesterday to find a rental. We found an apartment in a 4-plex with a garage....the best parts are the peachy-orange exterior and fake oak everything. We are having a garage sale with some friends at our house Friday and Saturday morning. The only major things left are packing and moving (x2).

Little Stinker

This little girl WILL NOT take a bottle from me and I have certainly been trying. (T-11 days until our vacay and I was hoping for a fun day in Disney with my hubby.) She will however suck water from her bath time washcloth.

Love this look, "what mom?!?"

The Latest

I feel lazy because I should be getting my house packed up, but I'm just watching tv instead. The appraiser is coming tomorrow morning; I'm a little worried about the appraisal coming in at our contract price so I figure I'll just leave all my decorations up and keep my house clean just in case that will help. So, here's the update on our plans......

We've found an apartment to rent for the summer (no washer and dryer....boo) and we've pushed up the closing date on our house to May 28. Our apt. is on the 3rd floor so we're just going to move in our necessities (beds, table, dishes, toys, maybe the tv) and put everything else in storage. The extra month in the apartment will save us a lot of money and we are definitely in saving mode. (Well, except for our Disneyland trip in 2 weeks. We've been talking about it so long that Milan has pretty much lost interest. Dave and I are pretty excited and can't wait to see Milan experience everything.) After we get back and moved, we have transfer orientation in Laramie on June 2nd and will hopefully be able to secure a rental for the school year. Then I will know what furniture we'll have room to keep and what we're going to sell/give away. Dave starts school on August 23rd.

Other than a couple of moves and a vacation, we don't have much planned for the summer. I'm sure Dave will work a lot and I will play with the girls a lot. Of course, we will also have a princess party for Milan....she has been talking about it since January. We will not be doing any yard work or house projects....woohoo!

Since my favorite part of blogs are the pictures, here's a picture of the girlies I took this morning!

Family Time

If you looked through our pictures, you would think I was a pretty small part of my kids' lives. I'm always the one behind the camera doing ridiculous things to get my kids to smile at me. Well, my dad has been here this past week and he has thoughtfully snapped some pictures of our family time. I love having pictures of our everyday-hanging-out-at-home-as-a-family activities.

We played hip-hip-horray to get Eden to look at the camera.

Eden's excited face!

Milan and Eden both love this thing. Eden squeals and kicks her legs when she sees it.

This kid has the BEST bed head! Plus, you can't look past this sweet purple and teal Princess and The Frog nightgown.....it's awesome! (I used to think that I would NEVER buy my kids character clothes, but this nightgown just makes Milan so stinkin happy.)

Watching a movie with my hubby :)

I am so lucky to get to be a stay at home mom....I love playing with my girls and hanging out with my hubby! Judging by these pictures, I should probably spend more time picking toys off the floor....oh well.

Grandpa Bob

My dad has been visiting for the past week. Milan has taken little trips with Grandpa Bob and has been lucky enough to visit "Old McDonalds" for the past 3 days! Dave and I have also taken advantage of the babysitting and enjoyed dates and adult time with our friends! We've all had some fun times.......

A visit from Grandpa Bob would not be complete without a new vehicle to add to Milan's collection. This time she got a Power Wheel Jeep and she loves it!

Driving around the driveway while talking on the phone is her favorite part! (Oprah would be dissappointed!)
