A visit from Grandma and Grandpa Scott

Grandma and grandpa Scott just visited us for a whole week and we were all very spoiled. Milan was showered with attention, constantly tickled, and pretty much got whatever she wanted all week. Eden was held all day (the next couple of days will be spent teaching her how to sleep in her bed again, but hey that's ok!) Dave got to go exploring and 4-wheeling with his dad. I got to sleep in, take naps, go grocery shopping by myself, go on dates with my hubby, lunch with friends, and Bill even helped me paint my basement stairs and new guest room in the basement (which would have taken me forever without his help!) We all really enjoyed the visit and appreciate all the help!

Happy Halloween

We had a blast with all the Halloween Festivities this weekend. Last night, we went to a fun costume party. Dave didn't know his work schedule until the last minute so I threw our costumes together a couple hours before the party. Dave was Mr. Clean....he really embraced his costume and actually shaved his head. We had a great time dressing up and visiting with friends!

Dave and Chantz (Joe Dirt)

Me and Morgan (Joe Dirt's girlfiend or something....I need to see the movie.)

This afternoon, Dave and Eden napped while I took Milan to a Halloween Carnival. Milan was so excited to wear her costume after waching us get dressed last night.

Then we all went to a Trunk or Treat....Milan loved it and told us that she likes the Halloween game!

Milan and Lizzie were quite a team for Trick or Treating.

Dave has to work tonight to Joel was SO NICE to watch Eden while Katie and I took the girls trick or treating. They had a fun time, but didn't last too long before they were pooped. Milan might have gotten extra tired packing around all her extra layers......

Twinners

I was looking through some of Milan's baby pictures and decided that my girls are pretty much identical. What do you think?

Here's Milan at 2 1/2 months old. She's just chilling with her Aunt Andrea while we were in Oregon for a friend's wedding.

I just took this picture of Eden the other day. She always has her little tongue out and I think it's pretty dang cute!

Eden is such a different baby then Milan was......I don't know if she just has a calmer personality or if she is more chilled out because Dave and I are more prepared as parents. I am excited to see what they are both like as little girls (but don't want this time to go by too fast!)

Eden's Blessing

Eden was blessed on Sunday, October 25. Grandma and grandpa Scott came out from Oregon and it was a special day.

Our cute little girl all dolled up....I wish now I would have gotten a better picture of the dress.

Our little family. I may have planned it so we were all matchy-matchy :)

Thanks to the Bakers

The Bakers were so nice to watch Milan a couple of months ago while we were in the hospital with Eden. Katie just posted these pictures of Milan and Lizzie and I had to steal them because they're so dang cute! I'm not really sure exactly what they're doing with the tights but it looks like fun! Thanks again for playing with Milan!

Fall Carnival

Tonight, my girls got to break out there cute costumes and go to the fall carnival at church. Milan was a cow or as she says, "I be cow," and Eden was a pea pod or as I say, "sweetpea." Milan had a fun time playing a couple of games, running around with her friends, and eating treats. I can't wait to take Milan trick or treating this year!

Before and After

I don't normally blog about my house projects, but I FINALLY finished painting/glazing my cabinets and painting my kitchen. I still need to do my tile backsplash and decorate, but you get the idea :)

These before pics aren't the best, they are from a couple of years ago when Josh was installing my crown molding (the first of many house projects that Josh has been so nice to help with, the Sorensens deserve there own blog post!)
