Holy Moly......we had lots of fun activities to celebrate Easter this week. These little girls were pretty spoiled this year......
Wednesday, we had an egg hunt at play group and even though the girls sported ghetto Wal-Mart bags, they loved it! Everybody brought 10 eggs per kid then we went home with 10 eggs and lots of yummy candy!
Here they are checking out their loot :)
Must have been something good!
After the egg hunt, Milan and Jack played this for a while....they are so cute together.
Thursday, Milan and I went to the pool for another egg hunt (we were already at the pool for swim lessons, but we'll probably skip this one next year.) Milan's lining up with her friends getting ready for the hunt.
So happy!
Before the egg hunt, Milan had her last day of swim lessons. Here she is jumping in the deep pool.
Milan has gotten much more comfortable in the water.....now she'll go in the deep end with a life jacket without holding on for dear life and she'll even put her whole face in the water without goggles....well, sometimes. She's pretty proud of her certificate.....we'll be in level 1 for a while.....glad she loves it!
No school on Friday so it was the perfect day for egg coloring. Milan came into our room first thing in the morning asking about coloring eggs, but we held her off until we returned from a little shopping trip to Cheyenne.
Here's 2 eager little girls!
They started off with clothes for about 5 minutes....then we had topless egg coloring :)
Eden seemed to like it. She also liked eating boiled eggs with the shell on.
Dave made me a cute Mom egg (it said I was eggcelent :)
Saturday, we went to the University for a couple more egg hunts. Milan rocked the first hunt and sprinted to where the eggs were hidden, but Eden's little legs just couldn't get her there very fast. So glad Milan offered to share her eggs with Eden.
Here's a happy little Edenbug!
Milan posing for a picture.
Milan was super excited to meet the Easter Bunny. Eden didn't want anything to do with the guy.
Milan LOVES to walk around the campus with daddy. She told Dave she wants to see the inside of every building.....good thing they have 2-3 more years :)
Today was also wonderful! Milan woke up super excited about Easter Baskets and eggs hidden all around the house. We played Milan's new games while she patiently waited for Eden to wake up. Eden's first word this morning was egg. The girls LOVED the egg hunt in our house.....they got a ton of eggs and Eden was especially proud of herself. I love these years of magic!!!!! Church was wonderful then we had a couple of friends over for a yummy Easter dinner!
