Date with Grandpa Bob

Grandpa Bob and Milan went on a special date yesterday......they watched Tangled, visited the dollar store, and Milan got an early Christmas present.  Here's Milan unveiling her sweet new ride!

 Cuddles.
Thanks Grandpa Bob!

We Made It!

The prospect of driving 20 hours to Oregon with the kiddos did not excite me at all.  We left on Friday, drove through the night, and made some fun stops along the way......

Rock Springs was a great time hanging out with friends, but no pictures :(
Grandma Kat's house was a lot of spoiling.....a talking princess kitchen, princess board game, word puzzles, Cabbage Patch Doll, cute stuffed animals and spa day with grandma (a bath in the spa tub, finger nail painting, and cute straightened hair.)

Aunt Marie's house was fun, relaxing, and filled with art......the girls got the super cute princess art set as an early Christmas present.
When we weren't visiting, Milan was a great little traveler!  She slept and watched movies...
Eden has been teething so she slept and cuddled most of the time....poor little Eden (but lucky me since I love cuddling!)

Standing

Eden's a great little stander and we're pretty sure she could walk if she wanted to, but she's a content crawler........

Breakfast with Santa!

Yesterday, we headed downtown for breakfast with Santa.  Milan ran right up to Santa when it was her turn and told him that she wanted a dollhouse for Christmas.
Eden, on the other hand, was not the biggest fan of Santa.  This was the picture that the photographer printed for us....it's hanging on my fridge and it cracks me up every time I look at it!
Eden did love hanging out with the festive cow so I would say the event was a success.

A Beary Merry Holiday

Milan had her preschool program on Thursday evening and it was one of the cutest things I've seen (obviously I'm super biased, but I'm just a proud mom!)  Here's Milan backstage before the show in her cute bear gear......
Eden waited semi-patiently for the show to start.....
The morning and afternoon classes performed two songs together.  Their first song was Teddy Bear.....

"Teddy bear, teddy bear, turn around."
(Milan forgot to turn around on this part, but it didn't seem to bother her :)
"Teddy bear, teddy bear, touch the ground."
"Teddy bear, teddy bear, shine your shoes."
"Teddy bear, teddy bear, skidoo.  Teddy bear, teddy bear go upstairs."
"Teddy bear, teddy bear, say your prayers."
"Teddy bear, teddy bear, turn out the light."
"Teddy bear, teddy, say good night."
Next, they sang a super enthusiastic "Jingle Bells!"
So, if you don't think there are enough pictures here, we also have a video of the entire performance!  Yep, we were those parents at the concert :)

Winter

I thought the winters in Rock Springs were cold, but it turns out that Laramie is even colder!  So, we have been staying inside, enjoying 70 degree temperatures, and playing lots!

We build a lot of trains; Edenzilla usually comes and tries to crawl over the track but usually misses and crushes our track so we rebuild.  Eden and I played trains by ourselves while Milan was at preschool and she was fascinated by the tunnel.  So cute!

Hugs!

We broke out Twister last night.

Milan and I do a lot of coloring.  Sometimes Eden likes to sit in her high chair and pretend she's coloring too.

This morning, I helped Milan write her letter to Santa.  She wants a dollhouse and a scooter-bike (which I think is a lot like a bike).  I think the bases are covered as long as she doesn't change her mind at the last minute.  I think we're all pretty excited for Christmas and our month long vacation!

Here's Milan little signature!

Gingerbread House!

We kicked off the Christmas season tonight with a little Gingerbread decorating.  Milan was an awesome little decorator and taste-tester.

Eden just liked to watch and steal candies.
 Ta-Da!  Here's the finished masterpiece!
