Dave's back!

Dave spent over 2 weeks in North Dakota and got back late Monday night. Milan was super excited to see daddy when she woke up on Tuesday morning. Eden's memory is pretty short-term so it took her a little while to get used to daddy.....now she's back to grinning at him most of the day! Tuesday, Milan was invited to a birthday party at the Green River Spray Park so we took the whole family.....

Here's a happy little wet baby!


Milan was over us the minute she saw all of her friends at the spray park....priorities?!?!? She loves to hang out with the big girls and especially loves when they pack her around the park!



Only 6 more weekss of work until we're off to school and we actually get to spend time with Dave on a regular basis (YAY!....well about the seeing Dave part...not super excited about leaving Rock Springs....we love it here!)

Cute Piggies

My girls were sporting some cute pigtails (first time for Eden) while we were at the park this afternoon so I couldn't resist taking some pictures :)

Parade

The festivities continued in Green River and we hit up the parade this morning. I had all of us ready by 9:00 this morning....that is certainly an accomplishment. Milan found one of her friends at the parade and they had a grand old time watching the princesses, gathering candy, and collecting necklaces. Eden tried out a sucker, but she was most excited about naptime on the drive home.

Flaming Gorge Days

My kids have been having a pretty great summer, but today was a whole new level of summer fun for Milan. We went to Flaming Gorge Days in Green River and Milan got to jump in a bouncy house, go down a huge air slide, go through an obstacle course, play in the splash park, and enjoy a Push-Up popsicle for lunch. She got to do all of these things with her little friend Maddie......Maddie is a super nice 7 year old that lets Milan tag along with her and Milan absolutely adores her.






Milan wasn't the only one having a great time. I spashed Eden a little bit and she loved it so I set her down on the ground where she was continuosly sprinkled with water......she kicked and laughed the whole time! Look how cute this little girl is!

Ahhh.....summer!

The summer weather has finally arrived so we have been living it up! Summer movies, storytimes, playdates, walks, parks, and lots and lots of water!


Shhh...don't tell Milan that's it's not cool to wear your sunglasses to story time inside the library.

Switchin It Up

My friend Morgan and I played salon and this is what we came up with.

Princess Party

We asked Milan what kind of birthday party she wanted and we weren't at all surprised when she said a princess party. We let her pick out everything herself....the invitations, the guests, the pink princess cake, and her favorite princess dress-up.

Here she is waiting anxiously with her cake before the party. The cake suffered a small injury while I was taking a shower and Milan was left unsupervised. When I came out of the shower, she told me that if "you put the cake higher higher then I can't get it." I guess chocolate cupcakes with pink frosting and princesses are just too much for a little girl to resist.
We started off the party by making princess/prince crowns.


Time for the highly anticipated cake.....



Milan didn't have the power to get the job done, so daddy helped her blow out the candles.

Milan loved opening presents and the majority of her gifts were pink and/or
princessy so she was a pretty happy camper.
