Denver

Dave was invited to interview at University of Colorado Dental School on Saturday so we decided to make a weekend out of it!  While Dave was interviewing, the girls and I went to the Children's Museum for 7 hours!  Yep, 7 hours!  We explored every inch of the museum and enjoyed the playground in the beautiful weather.

We finished off the day in a hotel, which the girls thought was awesome.  Well until it was time for bed, then none of us slept so well.  Finished off our trip with a little house hunting (we are likely moving to Fort Lupton, CO next month so Dave can work before dental school starts next fall), some shopping, playing, and Cafe Rio!

When I took Eden shopping for some new clothes since she has sprouted up lately, I told her we were buying shirts to cover her belly.  She told me, "I like these shirts, my bewwy needs air."

Family Pictures

I found a great photographer in Cheyenne to do our family pictures.  I really enjoyed her laid back style and my kids really responded well to her....I love all their real smiles.  I also learned a lot from her about photography.  Plus, I got some amazing pictures of our little family that I will cherish forever!

Here are some of my faves!

Fall Pictures

We had professional family pictures taken this year and I am getting impatient waiting to see them so I decided to take the girls' pictures myself.  It took me about 1 hour to get them all ready, 20 minutes to drive to location, and they lasted for 5 minutes of shooting.  I was ready to shoot fast and love the pictures that we ended up with!  Sure love these little ladies to pieces!

Cora and bananas

How cute is this little girl!?!  We really can't get enough of her!

Cora @ 18 months:
First off, her eating habits are crazy!  She will sometimes sit in her high chair, sometimes stand on a chair, and usually just rotates around the table or climbs across the table.
Has 6 teeth with 4 molars all broken through, but not all the way in yet.
Eats banana peels.
Squeals until we figure out what she wants, then politely says "ank oo"
Loves to jump off the coffee table.  She climbs up, puts her hands up and says "ease!".  Has learned to wait until someone is ready to catch her.
Will only hold Amanda Cory's hand.  Will not hold our hand or sit in a shopping cart.
Has decided to start wearing shoes since it is snowy.
She is the cutest little talker!  She like to chat at us, but we can't really understand anything.  She understands a lot of what we say though and will say "ya" when she agrees.
Still loves her bottle, technically a sippy cup with a soft lid, and likes to snuggle and drink warm milk before bedtime.
Sleeps through the night again and wakes up at 6:46 every morning.

Halloween!!!!

Halloween was such a blast this year!!!  This is my first picture of the day and I love it!  When I got my camera out, Cora gave me a big "eese."  Just look at those intense neck muscles!

Cora and I headed to Milan's school for all the holiday festivities.  This is Emma, Milan's BFF.  They were matching witches this year (but it was a little chilly on the playground so it's hard to tell, but they pretty much match anyways :)
The other members of Milan's posse are Carlie.....
and of course Addi.  These 4 little girls hang out all the time and get along great!
We headed to the cafeteria so we could get some some great seats for the Halloween parade!  Look at that cute little witch!
Then we helped out with the class party.  Cora wanted to be part of the action (she also wanted to throw a couple of tantrums, but we fixed that with some sugar!)
Next up, we headed to preschool to hang out with Eden Buggers!  The students at Slade were not allowed to wear their costumes to school, but they did get to do fun Halloween themed centers and eat Halloween treats.  Eden loved playing with orange cake mix and blowing up her ghost!
And of course, no occasion would be complete without a little photo shoot.  We headed to a nearby alley and snapped a couple of cute pictures of the girls in costume.  Love how these turned out!

And, finally, the best part of the night was TRICK OR TREATING!!  I may have been more excited than the kids, but they quickly caught on!  Eden led the pack the entire way and sprinted from house to house!  She was so proud of herself for being so speedy and saying "thank you."  Milan started off pretty speedy, but may have eaten way too much candy along the way and started getting a tummy ache, dang it!

Cora was hilarious!!  She was insistent of walking on her own and always chose to walk through a pile of snow in the yard instead of the walkway.  She wasn't actually too interested in getting candy, she just wanted to be independent and keep up the big kids.
The kids were seriously so much fun!  It was chilly, but they were great and got a TON of candy!
