More Summer Fun

Summers in Laramie are wonderful!  The weather is perfect and there are always some amazing friends to play with.  We tried to enjoy every second.......

Lots of time at the park!  I was worried about crazy miss Cora at the park, but she was actually pretty cautious about her adventuring.  My girls had so much fun playing, snacking, running around, and making fairy houses.

Albany County Fair with Dani and Leila.  The bunnies were their favorite part!
Lake Hattie.  It was a little stinky, but the kids had a BLAST!

We had so much fun exploring in the mountains whenever we got a chance.  Cora likes to be big like her sisters and really wanted to climb this rock!
We picnicked with some friends and the girls explored for hours.
If we are not out and about, then there was always fun things to do in our little neighborhood.  The kids have tons of friends here to run around with.....the best way to enjoy summer nights!
Look who learned to pump this summer!

Just a little dancing outside :)

We also spent a week in Rock Springs and had SO MUCH FUN!!  We saw all our old friends and remembered why we loved it there so much!  The girls loved all our social activities (well Cora would have appreciated more naps, but she survived.)  Here is Milan and Lizzie....they were pretty much inseparable during our stay.
Things got even more fun when daddy got home to enjoy the last couple weekends of summer with us.  We went to a fun festival at Undine park.
Milan and her friends Addi and Allison.
Milan remembered this ball from last year.  We waited in line forever so it was a good thing Milan really enjoyed her 2 minute tumble!
We spent Labor Day weekend in the Snowies to celebrate this handsome guy's birthday!  We all had a really fun time!
We went with our good friends the Cory's.  The kids found a really cool fort at our spot and played in it for hours.
Cora's favorite part....eating lots of junk food!
Dancing on the trailer is always a hit (maybe more than the Rhino.)
Milan's favorite part of the Snowies is the "Bumpy-whumps!"  We loaded a bunch of kids into the Rhino and spent hours going up and down the bumps and into the mud hole.  The kids were squealing with laughter.  Even Eden loved it!  We came back with big smiles and a lot mud!

Splash Pad

Man, we love the splash pad!  We just pack up our stuff, bring a picnic lunch and spend a couple of hours in the water!  I already miss our carefree summer days!

Campus

Campus is deserted during the summer so it's the perfect playground for us.  We love to ride bikes, climb rocks, and of course dance on the benches!

Visit from the Torlands!

Aunt Marie and Brynn drove out and stayed with us for a week!  We had a great time showing off all the fun things in Laramie.

We did some bowling!  (Instagram pic)
We made the rounds and visited nearly every park in Laramie.

We drove out to Curt Gowdy Park for a picnic.  We didn't really plan on swimming, but the girls had other ideas.  Love Brynn's naked bum in this picture!

We went to the Cheyenne Frontier Days parade.  The girls loved watching it, but were disappointed about the lack of candy.  (We bought some candy and made our own parade at home and threw candy at the girls on the stairs.  It was a blast!)

After the parade, we visited the Children's Village which is always a hit!

Milan and Eden have always wanted to rent the boats in Cheyenne so we tried it this time.  We I pedaled to one side of the lake and that was enough for them.

 Lots of playing.
 And of course some snuggling.
We had such a great time and hope we get to see them again soon!

Camping

Even though I am flying solo, I want my kids to have an amazing summer!  When my kids wanted to go camping with a bunch of our friends, I thought, "What's the worse that can happen?!"  So, we packed up the car and headed out last weekend.  The girls had a BLAST!!

Milan was quite the little climber.
Cora was pretty intense about camping.  She had to really focus on walking over the uneven terrain and wanted to check out everything.

Sad story.  Cora tried to get out of the kid's camping chair and fell face first in the dirt.  After I took a picture and cleaned the dirt out of her nose, she was on her way again.  She fell all the time and ended up filthy, but had a great time.

Bedtime went pretty smoothly.  I loved snuggling my girlies and sleeping in the tent.  Cora did wake up once in the middle of the night, but all in all, it went pretty well.

The next morning, there was more exploring!
Eden picked wildflowers all morning long!  We got to come home with a pretty bunch of flowers.

Baby Mama

We have another little baby mama in the house!  Cora found a baby to love, pat on the back, push in the stroller, and repeat.  Today, I noticed her licking her baby's head.  I realized that she is kissing her baby on the forehead, just like I repeatedly kiss her on the head all day long.

Don't you just love her awesome bed head!  She is so so so kissable!
