We had a great 4th of July this year and the best part was that daddy was home with us! We kicked off the day with a bicycle parade. Both girls decorated their bikes, but Milan was the most excited about the actual parade. Eden hung out in the stroller with Cora.
This is the starting line. Milan considered the parade more of a race so she wanted a front spot.
Our cute little bicyclist!
Next, we walked around the Freedom Has a Birthday Celebration at the park. Since we were so early, we were able to do all the popular attractions without waiting in line...it was perfect! Here are the girls touring the fire truck.
Cora devoured my free ice cream cone. Once she realized that she loved it, I wasn't allowed to move my hand or the ice cream away from her mouth

(FYI: All the above pics are from my phone. I just figured out how to transfer pictures to my computer....Yay, go me!)
After we BBQed with our friends, we played at the park for a little while. We needed to keep the kids energized for their late night! This is Cora's very favorite thing at the park (and look at all the chocolate around Cora's mouth.....she was definitely enjoying her night!)

Milan and Eden LOVED playing with glow sticks, silly string, and watching the neighborhood fireworks! Their excitement was so fun to watch :). We ended the night with the city firework show then passed out in bed.
