Grandma and Grandpa

Last week we enjoyed a visit from grandma and grandpa Scott.  Unfortunately, their visit coincided with our move back to Laramie which was pretty hectic/stressful for us.  Even though we weren't the best hosts, we did do some fun stuff!

We met up with our friends for one last park day in Rock Springs.

Grandma and grandpa hung out with the girls in Laramie while Dave and I got everything settled.  They were a great help!

We also headed up to the Snowy Range Mountains for some swimming, camping, fishing, flower picking, and 4-wheeling.

The fishing wasn't too good, but their were tons of wildflowers for the girls!

 We also got to play with our new toy.  Dave bought a Rhino so we can go wheeling as a family.  It's pretty tough and super fun! 

Bear Lake

My friend Emily planned an awesome trip to Bear Lake with her girl scout troop, some girls cancelled at the last minute, and we were invited to tag along.  We got to stay at a beach house on the lake, play all day in the sun, and hang out with our friends.  It was pretty amazing. 

We lathered on the SPF 70 and hung out by the water most of the day. Every time Eden woke up she would tell me, "bateng soot, pool."

 The house also had a playground so I pushed Eden on the swing a lot and she loved it. 

We also spent a lot of time playing in the sand, eating snacks, and just hanging out together.

Friday night we went to a family dance.  We had a great time dancing and my favorite part was watching Milan dance all over the place.My cute girls on the beach.

After my kids passed out at night, I got to crack up with my friends until the wee hours of the morning!  Thanks Emily for the invite!

Dum-Dums

These cute little entrepreneurs decided to set up a stand and sell Dum-Dum suckers.  They started off charging 10 cents then raised prices to $1.00 when business was booming.  Who can resist these salespeople? 

Just Some Crazy Kids!

Monday night, we made Smores with some friends and had a great time!

 Just as the party was ending, our friend Cammie stopped by and things got a little crazy!  It started off with a little jumping on the trampoline, then we decided to do some crazy stunts and fun games.  Things get a little scary with 3 adults on a trampoline...there is just not that much room!  I was laughing SO hard then looking at the pictures taken by an 8 year old made it even better!!

Salt Lake City

Last weekend we went to Salt Lake City to buy a new toy and visit Grandma Kat.  Saturday was a beautiful day so we decided to ride Trax down to Temple Square and walk around.  Dave and I thought Trax had some interesting characters but the girls didn't even notice and they loved the "chu-chu" ride!

The girls had fun exploring Temple Square; Milan's favorite part was looking at the pretty brides. 

 I love that there is a team effort to get Eden a drink from the water fountain.  I love this picture!

Water Baby

We spent another beautiful day at the Gorge and Eden did NOT think getting out of the water was a good idea!

Wyoming's Big Show

THE Big Show came to town last week so I took the girls the to check it out.  The girls got tons of free stuff and spent a lot of time in the fun kid's tent.

 Next, we headed over to pet and feed the goats.  Eden got one cup of goat food, dumped it out ten inches from the fence, and ended up feeding a couple of goats which tickled her hands.   Milan got a full cup of goat food and fed every goat about 5 grains of food.  She LOVED it!

We also saw some bunnies, chickens, and a fun monkey show.  It was a great day!
