UNDER CONTRACT!

Our house went on the MLS on Monday and the buyers accepted our counteroffer this morning....YAY! Our closing is the last week of June so we have some time to pack and finalize our next step. We are going to find a place to rent for the summer, head to University of Wyoming this fall, then on to dental school after Dave finishes up his undergrad. It's a little scary, but we definitely feel like it's the right move.

*Please don't scoff at our dead grass....it's Wyoming, every one's grass is still dead. Hope the new owners enjoy their $200/month water bills :)

Life is good

Today I got to play with my girls most of the day and hang out with some great friends. Life is good.

Just being girls

I'm so glad I had two girls close together....well specifically these two little girls!! They love each other so much and now that Eden sits up pretty well they are getting even better at playing together.

I gave the girls matching hair-dos then had them pose for a picture.

We were playing Resturant in Milan's room before church this morning. Eden and I play on the bed while Milan makes us a meal in her kitchen. They were too cute in church gear to pass up a picture though.

Don't mind Milan's strangle hold....Eden doesn't seem too bothered.

Sometimes Eden doesn't really have a choice. If I lay Eden down for a bit and Milan decides she wants her to play with a certain toy or smother her with kisses, the poor kid can't really get away. She really is a pretty good sport about it though.

For Sale

Our house is now officially on the market. If all goes well, then our next home will be a student apartment so I figured I'd blog some pictures of our house to look back on fondly. While this house has never been our dream house, I have spent a lot of time on this home and we are happy here (especially now that I've buttoned up my projects and spent days on deep cleaning.)

I already took down all of our family pictures so this is the de-personalized version.

I found this awesome dresser on KSL and couldn't resist....then it sat in my basement for 1 1/2 years and I just painted it for Eden room....I love it!

Milan's Room

Downstairs Guest Room
This is my favorite room....not because of how it's decorated (I spent $0 on furnishing/decorating this room), but it makes me think of how lucky we are to have wonderful friends. Our good friend Josh offered to finish off this room while Dave was out of town for work. He and some other great guys (Christian, Jeff, Tracy, Steve, Rich) worked late into the night all week to finish up this room and surprise Dave. The guys were so nice to donate their time to this project when they had their own projects at home. They did a great job and left me with some painting projects. Dave's dad was very generous with his time during his last visit; he primed and painted the stairway and this entire room. Josh even came back last week to help us hang trim and doors. We are so grateful to have such great people in our life and I smile everytime I see this room :)

A Few of Our Favorite Things

1. The Jumparoo......Eden loves this contraption. I love that it makes her so happy (it's also nice that this neat little toy occupies Eden long enough for me to take a shower.)

2. Running around in circles for hours.

3. Falling down and laughing.

Happy Easter

We just had a wonderful day! I love spending time with my family and great friends while watching my kids have a great time!

Dave was a trooper and shopped the little girl section at Wal-Mart last night at 11:00 to finish up Milan's Easter Basket. We were pretty excited for her to wake up and see her surprises. Normally, we hear Milan's pitter-patter footsteps then see her arrive at our bedside. This morning we heard her footsteps, then some clunks, but no Milan. She was off playing with her Strawberry Shortcake toys in the dark. When she saw us, she was super excited to tell us about the Easter Bunny. However, she wasn't too excited about eating anything that wasn't Easter Candy today.

Our friends, The Tarbets, hosted a fun brunch and egg hunt. The food was yummy, the company was great, and the egg hunt was a blast for the kiddos.

We can't forget about little Eden-bug.

Moving on the "eating snow" portion of the afternoon.

Hope everyone enjoyed the Easter Holiday too :). My lucky little girl gets to go to another egg hunt tomorrow......the Rock Springs Egg Hunt was rescheduled because of the blizzard-like conditions Saturday morning.

Styl'n

Milan was MIA for a while and when I found her in my bathroom......she had changed into this stylish outfit.....

and painted her own nails. When she first told me that she painted her nails, I experienced a moment of sheer terror thinking that the nail polish was probably EVERYWHERE.....surprisingly, I just had a clean up a couple of spots. So then, I just decided to get my camera and let Milan rock her new look. She is wearing this cute outfit instead of jammies tonight.
