We had never been to the Gulf of Mexico so our next adventure was Clearwater Beach. Jack and Kat followed us and we showed up at a busy and toasty beach. Our arrival felt stressful, especially when Milan was attacked by seagulls for eating her sandwich on the beach. After a little while, we managed to score a shady cabana and enjoy the warm weather in the ocean.
We always enjoy the beach most in the evening when the crowds have dissipated and the sun is lower so by the time the sun was setting, we were definitely in our groove. Kat, Jack, and Eden headed back early, but we stayed to the very end and watched the sun set over the gulf.
