This year, fireworks were outlawed because of all the nearby fires. We didn't let that stop us from having a great time!
The girls loved their new 4th of July wardrobe!
We started off the morning with the "Freedom has a birthday" celebration in town. The girl's favorites were balloons, free ice cream, a dance exhibition, the Cat in the Hat, jump houses, and playing at the park.
Cora was very content sleeping in the stroller during the entire festival.
We also enjoyed a yummy barbeque at the Perriton's house. It seemed wierd to me that there was no firework show, but the kids didn't seem to mind at all (probably because they were already exhausted from running around with their friends all night!)
